Women in the Second World War Task: Women in the Second World WarCurrent research has revealed that, the US had attempted from participating in the famous major wars, which resembled the European culture. Significantly, sources have revealed that, the WW II resulted from the GP, which mandated the Americans seize their European investments. In response, such a scenario culminated to rise of power struggle in Europe. Consequently, the withdrawal of the US made tyrants like Hitler to accumulate the control of Europe.

However, it is worthwhile noting that, Britain was aware that, for the survival of the Britain she needed to form alliances, especially with the US. While Germany, Italy, and other allies seized majority of Europe, President Roosevelt of the US accepted to back Britain. Concisely, due to the significant booming of the Harbor of Pearl, the US president declared a war through the congress. Consequently, with the declaration of war by President Roosevelt, Hitler responded by declaring war on the US; hence the commencement of WW II (Library of congress, 2011).

The exhibition has featured numerous women chosen based on their strength, as well as, variety in the library collections. Significantly, similar to their friends, they concentrated on certain ways in their wartime assignments. This document has selected three from the eight women in order to explore a comparison, as well as, a contrast in order to reveal who was significant in the exhibition. For instance, all women in WW II employed photographs in their elaboration of what happened in the WW II.

Accordingly, my document has chosen Therese Bonney, Esther Bubley, and Toni Frissell. Considerably the three women attracted about million viewers with their WW II images. However, they differ significantly because Bonney’s pictures portrayed images of numerours homeless nurses, soldiers in the front line, WACs, afro- American airmen, and numerous orphaned children. In contrast, Bubbley’s images portrayed wartime subjects around the capital of the nation. In addition, her images portrayed the life of the city, especially the boarding houses for workers of the war.

It is worth noting that, Bonney’s images reveal that, she could go forth alone and try to establish the truth and bring it back by trying to make the others intermingle with it and act on it. Therefore, she believed that, the emergency of the WW II had significantly threatened civilization in Europe. Consequently, Bonney wanted to reveal that, people would find measures I order to end the war. Another critical point of contrast was Frissell’s desire t shift from the simple news about fashion, as well as, society pages and move into complex news of the front page.

In response, she wanted to justify that could successfully venture in reporting. Consequently, she pursued wartime tasks that often entailed creating images in order to support her subjects’ objectives of publicity. Bubbley was also further different from the other to women. Significantly, she focused on the home front of the Americans while the nation tried to mobilize for war. Notably, she opted to focus on average Americans, apart from military, as well as, political events in the overseas.

However, one can summarize the three women by emphasizing that, they all captured great images of the WW II, which has stimulated the thinking about the ideals of the war and people’s life during WW II. Secondly, all of them profoundly influenced their war coverage. Consequently, WW II created opportunities for women journalists; hence, each of the above women utilized her distinct platform in a significant way for women in the mass media. In conclusion, by the last face of the war. Concisely, a significant number of women had secured official jobs.

Similarly, these women employed photography to portray or to present their research about the war. Therefore, as men went away to fight, women marched to the offices and factories to secure paying jobs, as well as, positions set aside for men .significantly, for the female reporters, WW II opened inventive professional chances. Lastly, this document has given credit for the flourishing research, as well as, collections in the congress library.ReferenceLibrary of congress. (2011).
