The areas covered under the establishment of this service organization include the establishment of the workforce requirement, the determination of the necessary qualifications, and the formulation of the recruitment process for each of the job position. Further, the report address the finical planning for the workforce and the necessary paper work required for the business workforces recruitment, while also addressing the possible laws that will have an impact on the news business establishment. Service organization: Name’s Laundry & Cleaning Services Listing of the individuals with their skills/abilities required Name’s Laundry & Cleaning Services will require a site cleaning manager, who will manage the whole business. The business will need a total of nine individuals, with one being the site laundry and cleaning manager, one supervisor and, six laundry and cleaning staff and one accountant. Site Laundry Cleaning Manager-(One) Job Description The Site Cleaning Mangier will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning of the client’s clothes. The responsibility of the manager includes ensuring that all the customer orders for laundry and/or cleaning have been processed according to the set schedule. The cleaning manager, with the assistance of the supervisors, is also responsible for ensuring that the laundry or the other items received by the business for cleaning have been delivered back to the clients within the scheduled and agreed time. It is the overall responsibility of the cleaning manager to ensure that all the laundry and other client cleaning items such as carpets, door mats, curtains and clients houses are delivered at the highest standard of cleanliness. The laundry and cleaning services for the customers clothing and other items runs for 6-days a week, running from Monday to Saturday, and the Site cleaning manager should be responsible to ensure that the operations of the business during the 6 days are satisfactory to the customers. Main duties The main duties of the Site Cleaning Manager include: Recruiting and interviewing the supervisors, the laundry and the cleaning staff based on the labor needs of the business. The manager is also responsible for maintaining the records of the employees and taking care of their workplace needs and issues. Induct new workers on their job roles and responsibilities, while also training them on their daily duties and schedule accomplishment. Overseeing all the cleaning activities at the business cleaning site, which include the laundry services for clients clothing, uniforms and other work or domestic related wears for customers. Coordinating and managing the supervisors towards ensuring the achievement of all the daily laundry and cleaning services. Regular visits to the laundry rooms to inspect the laundry process, and ensure that the clients’ specifications are met right from the initial laundry and washing activities in the laundry room. This is necessary as a way of upholding the highest standard of cleanliness. Collaborating with supervisors to plan and deliver schedules f the complex cleaning services such as carper cleaning and vacuuming. The manager is responsible for providing a safe and secure working environment for employees undertaking the laundry and cleaning duties. The responsibility also includes producing all the health and safety manuals that the employees should follow strictly to avoid health or safety risks. The manager should set and monitor all the workplace objectives and targets that should be achieved on a daily basis, while also planning on modalities and strategies of accomplishing the set objectives. Finally, the manager is responsible for ensuring that all the legal requirements related to the business operations, including the renewal of licenses and meeting any other administrative and regulatory requirements necessary for a laundry and cleaning business is done on time. Accountant Job description The accountant is responsible for receiving the payments from the customers in return for receiving r laundry and cleaning services. It is also the responsibility of the accountant to process all the payment transactions for all the employees of the laundry and cleaning service. Main duties The accountant has the duty of receiving and processing all the payments received from the customers, and in return issue the customer the appropriate receipts. It is also the duty of the accountant to keep all the books of accounts of the business, while also processing the appropriate transactions of the business and balancing the books in accordance with the prevailing laws of accounting for businesses. The accountant is also responsible for providing the finances required to make purchases for the laundry and cleaning materials for use by the business in each month. Finally, the accountant is responsible for processing the salaries of all the employees of the laundry and cleaning service business, and depositing them appropriately in their accounts. Laundry and Cleaning Supervisor-(One) Job description The laundry and cleaning supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the operations of the laundry and cleaning room. The responsibility also includes monitoring and supervising the launderers and cleaners in the cleaning room to ensure they adhere both to the high standards of cleaning as well as to the safety and health procedures of the laundry and cleaning services (Asset Skills, 2014). Administering quality is also another responsibility of the laundry and cleaning supervisor, to ensure that not only are the laundry and cleaning g activities undertaken accordingly, but that high quality is maintained. Main duties The laundry and cleaning supervisor has the responsibility of assigning the daily tasks and responsibilities of cleaning to the cleaning staff. The other duty entails inspecting each cleaning activity to ensure that it is being undertaken in accordance with the required standards of safety and health procedures, as well as sticking to the highest standards of laundry and cleaning. The cleaning supervisor is also responsible for maintaining the laundry and cleaning staff attendance log, as well as adjusting the cleaning shifts and schedules to meet the customer demands. The supervisor is also responsible for ordering the required stock of laundry and cleaning materials to be used for each month in advance, while also ensuring that the materials are used and mixed in the rightful quantities, to avoid damaging the customers’ items. The laundry and cleaning supervisor also has the responsibility of ensuring that the laundry and cleaning staffs are adequately trained on how to handle their duties. Finally, it is the responsibility of the cleaning supervisor to allocate each of the laundry and cleaning staff workload that is manageable. Laundry and Cleaning Staff (Six) Job description The laundry and cleaning staff is a job position that entails undertaking the actual laundry and cleaning activities for the clothes and other items requiring cleaning, which are delivered by the customers. It is also the responsibility of the laundry and cleaning staff to ensure that while accomplishing their laundry and cleaning duties, they also adhere to the required standards of health and safety, to avoid the risks of accidents or adverse health implications. Main duties To undertake the laundry washing of the clothes, uniforms and other wearable materials delivered by the customers for the laundry services. To clean other non-wearable items that are delivered by the customers for cleaning services, which may include carpets, door mats and curtains It is also the duty of the laundry and cleaning staff to press and iron the clothing and the other non-wearable items after laundry and cleaning. To fold the clothes and the non-wearable items after the laundry and cleaning, and then package them in the delivery bags, in readiness for the customers picking. The laundry and cleaning are also required to learn all the necessary skills for mixing and using the laundry chemicals and cleaning materials, to ensure that they do not apply inappropriate quantities of the chemicals and materials, which may damage the customers wearable and non-wearable.
