As people are born with their own perspectives and thoughts some prefer having an environment of rowdy nature where as some prefer having a slow and silent environment. People who want a slow and silent environment are people who love the feeling of being lonely. These people are born with the attributes of living alone in this world. Frank Collymore in his story "Some People are Meant to Live Alone" gives a brief review about such people. It tells about the people who want to live in solitude and these people should be left in solitude.

Collymoore in his story uses the characters and language in such a way that the readers remain startled. He has used his language with intellect by giving both the perspectives and the way of life of different people. Different characters made up by Collymoore came into play to show how a person who wants to live by his own rules leads his life. Bill and Uncle Arthur were the main tools used by Collymoore to depict the feelings of solitary people. The language used by Collymoore clearly showed that the role of a person's own perspective is important in changing his personality.

Like the language used in the story by Collymoore showed that the perspective of Uncle Arthur helped him change his whole personality. Collymoore at one instance in the novel is praising the decision taken by Uncle Arthur but at the other instance the language used by Collymoore clearly shows that he wants the reader to hate or dislike the character of Uncle Arthur. This happens when one realizes that the path of solitude taken by Uncle Arthur is only due to the reason of betrayal and his feelings.

Similarly on another instance the writer's body language shows how soft the character of Uncle Arthur is when he agrees to support his runaway friend. But then again the writer on the other instance shows how brutal the character of Uncle Arthur is when it comes to attainment of his personal need i.e. when he kills his friend brutally. The story is set perfectly by Collymoore which presents the reader a clear insight into how a solitary person can lead his life. And yet again the author describes the inspiration taken over by Bill from Uncle Arthur.

In the conclusion of the novel Collymoore through his body language shows that Bill would now lead the same life as his Uncle Arthur once did. This clearly shows that the conversation that Bill had with Uncle Arthur had some effect on his life. The fact that some people can do anything to live by their own rules is clearly portrayed by the character of Uncle Arthur. This is when Uncle Arthur murders his friend to attain his goal of living in solitude. Collymoore presented his characters in such a manner to the readers that the readers even after reading the story do not hate them.

The character of Uncle Arthur is shown with both a good and a bad side. Thus the readers do not conclude him having a bad character in the story. The author has presented Uncle Arthur as the main character in the story and presents him as the sole character who leads it to the solitude of him. The language in which the author has described his character takes the readers to the inner self of Uncle Arthur and lets them feel the inner self of Uncle Arthur. The reasoning which the author gives about these characters solitude is also presented perfectly to show that the character had no evil intentions when moving into a life of solitude.

The solitary behavior of these characters
