The template clearly indicates that each section must have title to guide the learner and direct the reader on the problem being handled at any given level. The introduction section must contain the general overview of what the research engulfs. Additionally, at the introduction the researcher must describe the topic that must reflect the learner’s program of study. According to the Concept Paper Template article, after the introduction, the author should identify and adequately and convincingly state the research problem (Arizona, n.d.).

The statement of the problem should be approximately one page. This section should briefly discuss the identified a problem that led to the research work, observations during the study, and highlighting for the study as well as the importance of improving on the study. Moreover, the section must clearly describe and document problems that led to the study. It should also document the sources that make the problem worthy of the doctoral research level. The Concept Paper Template indicates that the research must provide the purpose of the study that must be provided in the purpose statement.

This section is supposed to be provided in a concise paragraph that describes the intention of the study. Notably, this section must connect well with the problem statement in addressing the reasons for the study and must reflect to the research questions. In addition, this section should also indicate the research methods that will be used in data collection and achieving the desired research goals. The purpose of the study sections must describe the form of data targeted. Identification of data will automatically provide a guide to whether the research will follow qualitative or quantitative method.

The research methods adopted will help in generating research questions with a well-directed focus to whom or where the research is directed. The information outlining the purpose of the study
