Extract of sample "Why is Earth Geologically Active"

However, the presence of fluids such as water or even ice may play a role in speeding up the shifting of some landmass. Recently, a much-disputed island by two countries was removed from the earth’s surface since it was submerged in the sea by increasing water levels. Nature has taken a crucial role in resolving some of the earth’s problems. Other natural forces such as wind and water also play a supporting role in changing the geology of this planet through erosion. In conclusion, the earth is geologically active due to the internal heat it retains as well as other geological forces that exist.
