Those people who cannot afford to get health insurance might consider other insurance options such as state-based health insurance exchange programs so that they might receive a subsidy or they can apply for expanded Medicare orders (Encyclopedia Brittanica, 2013). The program added about nine hundred and forty billion dollars to the federal budget over the course of ten years. A study by Congressional Budget Office declared that this Affordable Care Act will lessen or mitigate the burden on the budget deficit by an amount of one hundred and forty three million dollars over this same course of ten years.

How will that be possible is by offsetting the costs by reducing the payments paid to the hospitals, augmenting the Medicare taxes on households with higher income, charging the penalties on employers who don’t offer or take the health care insurance, charging taxes on several of the health related activities, and mitigating the overhead by merging the higher education loan program and Pell Grant program (Amadeo, 2013) Remarkable antagonism has followed The Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act of 2010 before, during, and after it became a law. . The pharmaceutical industry which assisted the Bill Clinton’s administration to reform the trials in 1993-1994 as it would bolster the reform. The August marked the Congress members to go home to their districts and also town hall meetings which call for loud antagonism of the efforts as it begin to start the program.
