The Street Fashion Brand is on a mission to research the effectiveness of social media campaign for their branding strategies. Social media campaign tools include all online technologies such as blogging, instagram, Facebook, Twitter, review-sites, snap chats, Flickr, YouTube, and emails. Currently, most successful businesses use social media as their marketing and campaign tool for their products. Over many years the Street Fashioned Brand has research on how best they can create a good relationship with their customers. Since social media is a current trend in business, it is good to be use a campaign strategy. The major concern for the Street Fashion Brand is to maximize the use of social media platforms to meet their clients all over the Supreme area. Many people have employed the social media campaign to reach their potential customers in different part of the world. For instance, during the 2008 US presidential elections, Obama used social media effectively during the campaign and was later branded with the name online. The study therefore seeks to analyze the effects of social media campaign on Street Fashion Brand and how it can be enhanced to help the market of the company more effective. The aims of the study The essence of this study is to come up with a proposal on how a Street Fashion Brand can enhance and use social media campaigns to create more awareness and makes exploration on the successful companies that have ventured into the use of social media campaigns to increase their brands awareness in the market. Also, attention should be drawn on the requirements that one should meet to get connected to social media to make the brand more visible in the online platforms. Research problem The key area to be considered should be how the social media campaign should be used to create awareness of the Street Fashion Brand and the challenges it can face. Social media campaign, is thus describe as the networks, interactions, connections and relationships that are created in the social media platforms. The relationship, in this case, is the interaction between the Street Fashion Brand and the Supreme community. The proposal would then be studied basing on the following areas. 1. The roles of social media and its effects on branding. 2. Challenges facing the companies using social media campaigns. 3. How to solve the challenges that the companies using the social media campaign face. 4. Determining whether social media networks are the best tools for creating brand by the Street Fashion Brand. Literature review The platforms such as the social media has tremendously achieved lots of fame in the past as well as the current world and as a result it has prompted the decline of other media. As a results of this, many businesses have shifted their campaign strategies to the use of social media since the current world is connected to many online platform. Therefore it is the spread of the social media network services marketing and brand that bring the attention of social media networks campaigns. For the last few years, different types of social media networking services have emerged and currently they are many online platforms channels that connect very many people across the continents. The most popular and widely used social media as mentioned earlier are; Facebook, Twitter, You tube, Flickr, instagram, and LinkedIn. The mostly used social media platforms for used for creating marketing branding are Facebook, You tube, and Twitter. LinkedIn is widely used to create relationship on professional views. Twitter Twitter was created in March 2006 by Dorsey Jack and launched in July the same year. On twitter one has to get connected to the latest information on what they find good and follow the conversation. Through twitter the Street Fashion Brand can share their information to a large number of people and form a strategic standing point. This will help them to make their Fashion Brand popular and they can also get instant feedback and suggestions to boost their brand. Twitter can also help increase the brand market and improves the direct sales by reaching out larger number of clients on the online platform. Fig. 1Twitter Chat Facebook Facebook was launched in the year 2004and had connected over 800 million users by the year 2011. Besides being connected individually, Facebook also are prompted to connect to pages. Facebook has become one of the best marketing and campaigning tool. In 2011, Facebook Company created an online service portal that allow marketers to build brand on Facebook. Currently, Facebook as Google is used in online advertising and has made it possible for different companies to make graphic designs for their brands. You tube You tube is a video sharing website on which users can upload, view and share video as an informative and creating awareness to others. It acts as an online platform for distributing contents for the purpose of advertising. Pictorial advertising is perceived to be the best since it creates an image in the person’s mind. This has made YouTube to best advertising online marketing campaign tool. LinkedIn LinkedIn is an online platform that connects professionals to share knowledge and insight. In LinkedIn, the companies have access to a wealth of information that are user provided through the profile data. Companies advertised their products and brands to specific LinkedIn members. Though this, the company is able to increase its brand awareness among the target market. The purpose of social media networks is for exchanging ideas of interest among different groups. It is through frequent communication that the marketer on the interactive social media networks that friendship cam be developed and maintained between the business and the customers. In this way also the social network creates collaboration between the marketer and the collaborators. Social media also helps the customer to identify the best brand that is available in the market at a given time because one is able to sample different brands. Social media also creates awareness as well as being the most marketing tool in the current world. Online marketing through the social networks allows the speedy passage and accessing of information. Social media helps in building the brands of product in the market through the following ways; 1. The consumer promise: The contents on the social media and website conveys the similar message, and the brand advertised should be relevant and understandable. 2. Build trust by delivering on the promise made: Different social networks creates brand with a message that users easily trust. 3. Continual improvement: The social networks drives continual incremental improvements. These improvements are realized through getting response from online community on the disadvantages and advantages of the brand. Factors that determine the effects of the social media brand awareness The customers should be able to determine the marketers brand and relate to their previous knowledge on the brand. The marketer needs to frequently talk about the brand to create more awareness to the audience. The branding should also be influential since the information acquired will make the marketer readjust the brand wherever possible. The brand also should be possible to create loyalty on the customer. The loyalty on the marketer will make the customer be loyal also to the brand. Challenges of online branding Apart from being the best marketing and campaigning platform, social media faces great challenges in branding and campaigning. Social media might use anonymous people in advertising which can be seen by the customers as unethical way of presentation of the brands and hence may cause damage to the company. Also, there is a lot of danger in moving brands online using the social network because of possibility of reducing brand equity in case the site happens to perform poorly. Moving brands online also can cause reduction in trust. If at all the site happens to give unequal prices on different sites the customers will then lose trust. In case there is network loss the marketing ceases since the online platform depends on the internet. Conclusion Social media marketing is essential tool for making the campaign for the brand. This is because it connects too many people at the same time. In the current world. social media is an important marketing tool which offers an companies opportunity to engage with their markets and to learn about customers’ needs, important segments and profile unlike main stream media i.e. radio or print channels. However, the implications are that this is an uncontrolled environment that business do not have control over and therefore it requires a good social media strategy that also manages the comments posted by consumers whether positive or negative. Social media has become an important tool for marketing and creating brand awareness. Recommendation From the study of the effectiveness of social media marketing, it is therefore, recommended by the study that if a research is studied critically, social media marketing is important.
