From this paper it is clear that the confrontation between Hamlet and his mother leads to the death of Polonius. This crime leads to hamlet being dispatched to England. However, Claudius has more plans for prince Hamlet. He wants to kill the prince because he is a threat to the kingdom. The actions of Claudius reveal the desire for power and the desire to control the kingdom. The marriage of Hamlets mother reveals how power corrupts.This study declares that the return of Laertes the son of Polonius makes the situation complex.

Claudius hatches a plan to cause the death of Hamlet, but in the process several others are killed by the poison. Hamlet murders Claudius, but cannot live because of the cut from the poisoned sword. The action ends with the death of all the major character. The journey of revenge is marked with several issues including trickery and corruption. From the play, it is evident that the character of Hamlet was shaped by the action of Claudius. In fact, the death of the father was the major turning point.

However, the hurried marriage of his mother after the death of his father also contributed significantly to the madness revealed in the character of Hamlet. The major challenge in the play is the ability to handle crisis. Ophelia and Hamlet fail to handle the issues of death in a sober and understanding manner which leads to desire for revenge. Despite achieving his goal, hamlet dies in the process.. In fact, he believes that killing Claudius in his prayer will make Claudius enter heaven. The feeling makes Hamlet spare the life of the Uncle.

Hamlet considers the death of Claudius as insufficient to cover for all the sins committed. Consequently, the confrontation between Hamlet and his mother leads to the death of Polonius.
